I love the art of storytelling. My favorite medium is film. It has been since I was quite young. This love inspires me to write scripts, reviews, and in-depth essays. My best-of lists are an extension of this passion and reach beyond film into sports, music, and life.
In my writings, I purposely separate the terms "film" and "movie." In my opinion, films and movies are separate yet equally enjoyable classes of moving pictures. Films attain a measure of artistic sublimity. Some aspire for it, while others attain it despite themselves. Movies are pure popcorn entertainment. Knowing this distinction adds clarity to my reviews.
The scripts on this site were written either solo or with my writing partner, Mark. They will all eventually link to their own separate sites. For now, please enjoy The Deathless Ones.
